Childhaven is a non-profit Christian child care agency that is associated with the church of Christ. Childhaven's charter requires all employees to be faithful members of the church of Christ.

Position Descriptions

House Parents:	House parents live and work in the residential group homes located on the Childhaven Campus. A bachelors degree in education, psychology, or related field is preferred but not required. House parents receive strong support, training, and six days per month relief time.
Social Workers:	Social workers responsibilities are in the areas of foster care, campus care, foster care recruitment, and foster parent training. All social workers are required to hold a BSW degree or greater, and be eligible for licensure in the state of Alabama.
Support Staff:	Job descriptions vary by job requirements.
